Your listing is live when shoppers can buy it on cratejoy.com. The status in Product Listings tells you which it is.
What Each Status Means
- Live — shoppers can buy it on cratejoy.com now. Open the listing and select View Live Listing to see it as shoppers do.
- Not Live — the listing is published, but shoppers can't buy it yet. Something on your store is still keeping it off cratejoy.com (see below).
- Listing Hidden — the listing's product is hidden from the marketplace. Make the product visible again to put the listing back on sale.
- Draft — not published yet. Finish it and select Publish. A new listing needs at least 5 photos to publish.
Why a Listing Is Not Live
A published listing stays off cratejoy.com until your store is ready to sell. The usual reasons:
- Payouts aren't connected. Connect Stripe through Cratejoy Payments. See Configuring Cratejoy Payments.
- No paid plan. A paid plan is needed to take orders. Go to Account > Plan.
- Your store is in test mode. See Leave Test Mode.
- Your store is closed or paused. Contact us through Cratejoy Merchant Support.
To see exactly what's left, open your Launch List. Its fifth step, Publish your listing, tells you what's still left. While a listing waits on payouts, your plan, or test mode, a banner at the top of your account also names the one thing to fix.
When It Goes Live
Once nothing is left, the Launch List shows a Your listing is live card with a link to your listing, and its status in Product Listings changes to Live.
