Automatically adding subscribers to an email list is a Storefront feature only. This feature is not available on the Cratejoy Marketplace.
Are you setting up MailChimp in Cratejoy and seeing an error? This error is most likely due to the fact that you didn't create a list in MailChimp first before connecting your MailChimp account to Cratejoy.
This guide will walk you through on how to fix it!
Step 1: Go to the app store here.
Step 2: Click on uninstall next to MailChimp and click uninstall Mailchimp
Before you do the next step, make sure you have your list for people to subscribe to created in MailChimp already!
Step 3: Click Install - Free on MailChimp and put in your MailChimp credentials.
Step 4: Select your list from the drop-down and click export customers.
Step 5: Refresh your page.
Once you've refreshed your page, you're all set! Your MailChimp integration is now active.
