  • How often does Cratejoy review sellers for Preferred Seller status?

    • We are constantly reviewing sellers and notify you on a quarterly basis.

  • Will my store still be successful if I don’t get Preferred Seller Status?

    • With our detailed guidance, communication, and support, it’s our goal that you continue to aspire to Preferred Seller status. Although Preferred Sellers receive prominent placement on the marketplace, other sellers have opportunities to be featured in sales collections and their respective categories.

  • I'm a seller outside of the US, and tacking is not accessible or affordable. How can I keep this from negatively impacting my shipping score?

    • Adding tracking to all physical orders is one of the criteria for Preferred Seller eligibility. If you mark an order as complete without adding tracking, it does not meet the requirement for Preferred Seller

  • I'm a US seller, but offering tracking is not always possible on my orders. If I'm unable to add tracking to the order or indicate an exception, will it count against my Preferred Seller eligibility?

    • Adding tracking to all physical orders is one of the criteria for Preferred Seller eligibility if you’re in the US. If you mark an order as complete without adding tracking, it does not meet the requirement for Preferred Seller.

  • What messages count towards the message response rate?

    • Your message response rate is based on just the first message in a conversation, not ongoing conversations. This means you just need to respond to the first message within 24 hours. Messages from active buyers (buyers with orders) will be the only messages that count toward your score.

  • What happens if I can't respond to messages on weekends and holidays?

    • Currently, we only measure message responses during weekdays (business hours)

  • What happens if I'm getting messages from the same user through multiple message threads?

    • If messages are appearing in separate threads in your inbox, then as it stands today, you’ll need to respond to the initial message of each thread.

  • What if I don't receive any messages?

    • If you don’t get any new messages during a review period, it won’t have a negative impact on your eligibility for Preferred Seller. Your message response rate won’t be included in your Preferred Seller eligibility unless you get a new message. Remember to respond within 24 hours on weekdays if you get a message.

  • What if I don't offer a monthly term with my products? My term is weekly, biweekly, bi-monthly, or quarterly.

    • If you are not selling a monthly term product, you must offer two prepay options to qualify for Preferred Seller eligibility.

  • How often is my listing scored?

    • Your listing is scored the first time it goes live on Cratejoy and then every 3 to 6 months thereafter. Maximizing your listing quality upon your first submission is important to ensure you get a good score at the beginning.
