Can I change my payment processor?

In the majority of cases, sellers will need to use Stripe as their payment processor on the Cratejoy platform. However, there are a few scenarios where you can switch to a different payment processor.

Your Business is on Stripe's Restricted Businesses List

You can only change from Stripe to a different payment processor if your business category is on their list of restricted businesses. Because this list is subject to change by Stripe, it's best to refer to their resources to see if your business category is on their restricted businesses list.

If your business falls under their restricted business list, you'll need to submit a ticket. For Cratejoy to best assess your needs, you'll need to include the reason why you're not able to use Stripe as your payment processor.

You Migrated from a Different Platform

If you migrated to Cratejoy from another subscription business platform, you may be able to use a payment processor other than Stripe. For this, you'll need to submit a ticket. For Cratejoy to best assess your needs, you'll need to include the reason why you're not able to use Stripe as your payment processor.

We highly recommend Stripe as they have more successful transaction rates than any other payment processor.
